Think of it like a spray tan. 

You get super vulnerable, strip down to near-nothing (or fully nothing), and awkwardly stand there while you get hosed down with a mist that feels kinda gross. 

As you’re standing there waiting for the tan to dry, you look like a hot mess. You’re streaky, you’re orange, and you’re contemplating living in a society where women choose to do this.

But then, a few hours later, you wash off that gross layer of orange, revealing a bronzed goddess.

Your business is just like that. 

At first, things will feel messy. Uncomfortable. You’re gonna have to get vulnerable. And sometimes, things may get ugly. 

You’ll probably be overworked. Sleep-deprived. And may struggle to land clients. 

These are the times when that little demon called doubt creeps in. It usually brings fear with it. And together, they tell you that giving up on your entrepreneurial dreams is the easiest and best option.

But don’t you DARE listen to that doubt! Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Once you make it through the messy part, trust me when I say: it’s worth the wait and the effort. 

So how do you make things feel less hellish in the beginning?

Focus on the process, not the outcome. 

Don’t go for cheap and instant gratification. You’re better than that. 

Instead, embrace the journey and enjoy the ride.

And along the way, celebrate your small wins. Learn from your mistakes. And no matter what never, NEVER give up on your dreams!

They’re your dreams for a reason — because this is what you’re meant to do!
